Are dogs allowed on restaurant patios in Tucson?

Only where the restaurant chooses to allow them. Pima County requires a pet friendly patio permit (Pima County Code 8.08.080) before animals other than service animals can be on a food establishment's patio.

Is it too hot to bring my dog to a patio in Tucson?

In summer, pavement can burn paws long before the air feels extreme. Go early or after sunset, look for shaded patios with misters, bring water, and skip the outing on very hot afternoons.

How current is this list of dog-friendly restaurants?
